Not gritty, but gory. Grimdark still the same, like we wanted. No cartoons or political correctness please! Diablo III did good but that was the last glimmer of hope for good Blizzard games since Warcraft got ruined by power creep expansions for kids and SCII suddenly decided to be a budget Twilight story game instead of what actually made Star Wars and Brood Wars so great. The feel of SC1 and Diablo II... nothing in gaming history can quite compare

2021 post blizzcon and they are showcasing classes jumping over terrain and climbing up walls. It's still a shell of a game at this point, if we're lucky it will release in 2022.

Really hyped for it Was quite sceptical at first, but after viewing the interviews and getting to know some of the people that work on it - i am now much more confident in that it will be the darkest and bloodiest of all the series

Anyone asking for a movie out of this cinematic, go watch the movie named "The Cell". This cinematic is very reminiscent of that movie, animation and costume wise.

Lemme say: I play and like Diablo.... but I always found it's cinematic "too cool" and "serious" for the type of game that it is, seeing these kind of scenes (excellent work!) and then play a game where you simply loot&grind through dungeons and "funny" monsters is somehow disappointing. I'd like to see (and play) another kind of game, more intense, more "close-to-character"... lemme say some "darksoul-esque" kind of game, where these kind of cinematic can fit entirely. Even in Diablo 3 the cinematics were super-cool and "adult" (if I may say so), with terrible demons, ultra detailed and then..."pew pew pew", flash- boom... dunno, I always found this choice of cutscenes not right for the type of game Diablo is... (2 cents)

Where is the trailer taking place? Because it looks like the tristram monastery, complete with hole where the fallen star fell inside. Can anyone confirm? And if so how was this area never found before?

I absolutely love the detail at 1:41 where the disguised necromancer helps the scholar by forcing his hand against his wound. First time viewing it comes off as him helping the scholar, but we see later on when the scholar mimics this gesture again that the necromancer simply wanted to make sure the scholar didn't bleed out all the blood that was needed to bring Lilith home.

So what the f*ck did I just watch? What about the gameplay? Cinematic is good quality, not really a huge fan of the story but ok. Still, announce trailer but not even a bit of a gameplay. I'm sceptic, especially because it's blizzard we're talking about, they became very very greedy indeed.

What are you complaining about? This came out towards the end of 2019 along with a gameplay reveal trailer. This isn’t new in the slightest. There have been multiple dev updates and even another gameplay trailer showing off a new class since this.
