Blizzard North is long gone and so are most of the talented crew who made Diablo and Diablo II. Sadly, this Diablo IV will be another color lottery game. Watching that rogue pop out 3-4 white shadow bows just made me laugh and it's out of embarrassment. No originality whatsoever.

@Diablo If you want to have the best hack n slash game give ppl open world/semi mmo with better item sets than d3 and full unrestricted kanai cube item choice and let us choose the difficulty from an unlimited difficulty pool. Also remove common legendary over a higher difficulty level and replace all leg drops with ancients and primal letting us choose what drops we want poe system. This would be the best game of the world.

This is the *original* Demon Hunter, named after the Rogue from Diablo 1. The Demon Hunter is a weird hybrid of the Assassin from Diablo 2 and the O.G. Rogue.

Tbh, they can make a trailer with a few billion budget, polish every swcond of it, quentined and tarantined, by written directiono. But if, in the end the game sukks like it did in D3, I'll stay at D2 LoD for ever of ots possible. Same with D2R... Warcraft reforged taught me a lession 😥😥😥

I don't know... the in-game play graphics look underwelming. It feels like Diablo III and that one came out 9 years ago. Hmmmmmm... I have been playing Diablo since 1996. Now I am finally beginnig to wonder Blizzard is not the Blizzard I know and loved. The developers and the game may have lost its absolute luxury brand image. Hope they can correct themselves.

In D3 I don't like that the game bombards me with rare and unique items, making normal and magic items almost completely worthless . I want the uniques to feel unique. In contrast whenever I play D1 nowadays even finding a normal item of a larger tier makes me happy. This is because magic items in D1 are rare and whenever I find a unique I am super excited. Scarcity is what increases a perceived value here. I hope D4 developers could tune down the drop rate of unique items and make normal and magic items useful again. I truly don't mind if find a unique item only like once a week, and not like every 20 minutes. This would also boost the trading factor.

I like how in first diablo games the type of class you can have also shows the gender, for example rogues do ranged combat because they cannot be as good as male counterparts in close combat(barbarion,paladin,fighter), or simply resort to traps and others techs(assasin),or ranged like amazon.

I am soooo over Diablo 4! Maybe my grandkids will get to play it.

I don't like the gameplay at all. D4 looks like something a child would make, if they had the skill required to do so. It reminds me too much of Diablo 3. At this point why not create a new IP and call it something else. This is not worthy of the Diablo name. D2:R looks so much better and more realistic, despite existing in the same imaginary universe.

I love all the Diablo games in including Diablo III but not a fan of Diablo IV being online so in the meantime until release I'll guess we'll just have to wait and play it by ear.

The priest, when you see his face near the end when he's putting the severed ear away, looks like Nicholas Cage.

What I don't like is that they have gone too much to the first game when it comes to characters, because from the rogue you pull out amazon, demon hunter, asassin and you combine it with other skills to come up with the monk (from the warrior you pull out the barbarian and the paladin/crusader), it is too condensed the rogue and it makes it hard to come up with a different class of that genre to make sense in the game. It is too much of an archetype.

I heard that the game will not have a really hard level of difficulty from the first playthrough. If so, then this will be the maximum discouragement.

A master Templar of Sacred Magic.. User of Holy, Elemental and Arcane damage. Or... Be a master Occultist of Dark Magic (like Necromancer) and Shamanism (like witch doctor).. I hope there id a visual distinction between a level 1 rain of arrows and a level 20 rain of arrows. In D2, it feels very satisfying leveling up my amazons multi-shot and seeing that visual progression. I worry that an over abundance of flashy abilities might dilute the atmosphere.

I hope that dodge roll we saw was an intrinsic part of the class' kit rather than one out of 6 abilities to choose from. It'd be cool if each class had a unique ability like that which remains baseline.
